I love this place for grass-fed meats

Frank's is always great. Been going here over 35yrs. Excellent meat selections at good prices. Service is fast and friendly.

Woke up this morning thinking about my visit to Franks on July 4th to pick up a few items. As is strongly suggested, me and my husband wore masks and tried social distancing. None of the employees had on masks and there was no mask or plastic protector at the check out register. Business as usual. Small crowded place. Making sandwiches for people, taking meat orders, yelling... Who's next, and Can I help you? Why no masks?

Frank's is a legend. Freshly prepared soup daily. Nice produce. Deli meats and cheeses. And a full butcher shop.

HUGE Sandwiches~! Great prices too. Everyone's really friendly and knowledgeable. May be one the best meat cuts in town. They have a wall full of barbecue sauces and really nice produce. Amazing place!

Their beef short ribs are some of the best cuts you can find anywhere. Thanks for the good eats!

I got turned on to this place after I learned a good friend of mine buys meat here exclusively. I'm hooked. If you're used to meat at a super market, Frank's will blow your socks off. The quality of the meat is superior.

Great place to stop for a quick lunch on the go or picking up fresh cuts of meat. Have patronized this business for years, fresh made sandwiches dressed however you like, mild chili loaded with hearty chunks of meats and veggies. smoked meats, brats and other offerings are also available, cant comment on those though, this is my stop for a nice fresh sandwich and small chili on the side! during lunchtime don't let the line deter you from stopping, they move the people through quickly..

great local joint. the chili is fantastic, possibly best in the city. if you get a deli samich they stack it too the 9’s. the cuts of meat here are great as well. there’s nothing bad here.

During this crisis, Frank’s has the ultimate customer services, practicing social service distance. I witnessed a customer who came to the store, purchased and apparently forgot his wallet. I don’t know where the customer had to travel from, but he returned to pay his bill.Franks employee reassured the gentlemen.This kind of respect, appreciation, anD LOYALTY from the customer and Frank’s employee is the reason I patronize Frank’s. There’s alway a smile warm greeting from employees and and frequent customers. I hope the customers will be able to continue to come to Frank’s considering the make shift hospital soon to be at the fairgrounds 🤔. Thank you for the awesome services your provide😘

Best food and cuts of meat in Louisville. Staff is friendly and even more amazing than the food. We ordered hamburgers, hot dog, and fried bologna. They were a hit!

If you are looking for fresh food this is the place. The Chicken Sandwich is delicious eat half now other half later. The burgers very moist and delicious my husband orders 2-3 at a time...

To me that's great place to grab lunch believe it or not the lnes can look long but they are quite fast in and out they turn and burn appreciate good food good atmosphere going in there well priced as like anything else you pay for what you get and you deftly are getting your money's worth with this price

You want a hugh sandwich, go here. The price is amazingly low for what you get. There's enough meat for 3 sandwiches. Old fashion deli & meat counter service. Choose from a large variety of meats, breads, cheeses, & fix'ins to go on it. They also have a variety of specialty sandwiches, as well. My wife usually just eats half of a sandwich at a time. If you want to get some quality steaks, chops, or roasts to cook yourself, they have that for a reasonable price, too. At lunch hour during the week, the line might be out the door. Don't give up. I have seen as many as 7 guys behind the counter making sandwiches so the line usually moves really fast. While they're friendly, its all about the service to get you in & out on your lunch hour. They stay busy for a reason. It's not a fancy place, but the food is always fresh.

I went in to grab myself 2 ribeye sandwiches because I've been working 12 hour days during the COVID 19 Pandemic (essential worker) and they got me out quickly. Everyone is extremely nice and the food is excellent! I just wish my FedEx route was in this area. Thank you for being open and continuing to provide INCREDIBLE food.

Went there yesterday, was not impressed. German potato salad was not even close to any I ever had in my years in Germany. The wurst was rolled up fat. The floor was dirty. Prices are high for what you are getting. Maybe some like it because it was busy, but for the real McCoy Franks missed.

I have been going to Frank's for probably 20+ years & have NEVER been disappointed in the food (except maybe the ribs, but only b/c I have a hard time with some grilled foods & that is my issue, not theirs!), the service is exceptional, EVERY employee smiles & makes you feel at home & the only place I can get the best Tapioca pudding & Jalapeno cornbread around!! Sandwiches so huge I had to drop to 1/2 sandwiches. Twice now they have cut a frozen product I didn't even purchase there for FREE! I will go there as long as I am alive & able & they are open & it's worth any wait time, if there is one. My aunt & uncle used to go there a lot & when she passed, Frank personally donated all the food we needed & so much more I didn't even think about for the funeral home. He personally loaded in my car & I had to get help to carry it all in. I simply LOVE Frank Tooley & his crew is the best!!! His son is pretty darn awesome as well!!!

Very competitive pricing on meats which are significantly better quality than any big chain bought meat. Lunch options for quick meals. Can't go back to Kroger or Meijer for steaks anymore

I had Franks for lunch today, and as always, the food, as well as the customer service, was phenomenal! Frank even went above and beyond today by making me a sandwich that’s not even on the menu. I’m going to say that the Benedictine sandwich he made, was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in many years.
